Marketplace Roundup: Tottenham Announces EZTrader Partnership

Tottenham announced EZTD as its new official binary options trading partner for the next two-and-a-half seasons. EZTD, known as EZTrader, has five other existing football partnerships across France, Germany and England. Eztrader.com will benefit from advertising at Tottenham home matches and across popular club communication channels, including tottenhamhotspur.com (Tottenham). ... The '16 endurance season starts with the Hankook 24H race. Hankook acts as title sponsor and exclusive tire partner to the 24-hour event, which is contested from Thursday to Jan. 16 on the Dubai Autodrome. The tire maker will support the 24H series powered by Hankook with its Ventus racing tire (Hankook). ... Essex Cricket announced that Unibet became a sponsor of the club. The deal will see the company become the official betting partner of the county and will also include stand sponsorship at The Essex County Ground (Essex Cricket). ... Tire manufacturer Continental "stepped up its sponsorship of the Copa do Brasil," taking the naming rights to Brazilian club football’s annual knockout competition. The German company will sponsor the competition, which will now be officially known as the Copa Continental Pneus do Brasil, until '18. Financial terms of the agreement, brokered by the Traffic Sports agency, "have not been disclosed but it is thought to represent Continental's largest investment in Brazilian sport" (SOCCEREX, 1/11). ... The British & Irish Lions unveiled Standard Life Investments as the shirt sponsor for the '17 tour of New Zealand, when it "will attempt to register a test series win over the double World Cup champions." Standard Life Investments has "taken over as the name on the front of the most famous touring team kit in the sport from HSBC" (London EVENING STANDARD, 1/11). ... The Asian Cricket Council announced that it has awarded the sponsorship rights of Asia Cup Tournaments from '16 to '19 to Twenty First Century Media Pvt. Ltd. for a period of four years. The partnership from '16 to '19 will cover 10 Asia Cup Tournaments including Men's Asia Cup, Women's Asia Cup, Asia Cup Qualifier, Emerging Asia Cup and U19 Asia Cup (Int'l Cricket Council). ... Supermarket chain Lidl will sponsor World Tour cycling team Etixx-Quick-Step for the ’16 and ’17 seasons. It is part of Lidl’s effort to support the development of “healthy habits” and position itself internationally as a brand that “strengthens sports participation and healthy and balanced dieting” (AS, 1/11).
