Marketplace Roundup: Sporting Goods Manufacturer Fila Signs With John Isner

Sportswear manufacturer Fila signed an endorsement agreement with No. 1 ranked American male tennis player John Isner (Fila). ... Supermarket chain Lidl France signed a partnership with the French Handball Federation (FFHB) to become the official partner of the FFHB for three years via its milk and dairy products distributer ENVIA. In collaboration with the FFHB, Lidl France will create a Fan Zone outside several matches in France. The agreement also includes a day dedicated to youth handball in several large French cities (FFHB). ... For the ninth consecutive year, Alfardan Automobiles has "partnered with the Qatar Tennis Federation" to sponsor the first ATP World Tour tournament of '16 -- the Qatar ExxonMobil Open.The official BMW Group importer in Qatar will provide a fleet of 50 BMW vehicles including the BMW 7 (GULF TIMES, 1/5). ... Serie A side Udinese has agreed to a sponsorship deal with naval logistics provider TO Delta. Its logo will appear on the front of the matchday jerseys worn by the Serie A outfit's youth teams. No "financial details were released" (SOCCEREX, 1/6). ... The Donegal Gaelic Athletic Association senior team named the KN Group its new title sponsor, replacing Donegal Creameries. The KN Group logo will be on the front of the county jerseys. The KN Group is a provider to the telecom, civil engineering, rail, electricity and energy sectors in Ireland, the U.K. and internationally (DONEGAL NOW, 1/6). ... Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen will reportedly "sign a new kit deal with sportswear brand Jako." The company would replace adidas, which has been the club's partner since '76. Jako already has deals with Bundesliga rivals Hannover 96 and SV Darmstadt. The three-year agreement will have an estimated value of €2.2M ($2.4M) annually (SOCCEREX, 1/6).
