More Than 6 Million Viewers Watch Innsbruck Four Hills Tournament Event

German public broadcaster ZDF "recorded more than 6 million viewers for its broadcast of the third Four Hills Tournament event," according to Alexander Krei of DWDL. The event from Innsbruck, Austria drew 6.09 million viewers on Sunday afternoon. The number translated into a market share of 29.9%. In comparison to last year, the event drew 1 million more viewers. In the target demographic of 14-49, ZDF coverage obtained a 17% market share. Pan-European broadcaster Eurosport, which also aired the ski jumping competition, drew 630,000 viewers and had a 3.1% share. In the target demo, Eurosport's coverage had a 2.4% market share. German free-to-air TV channel Sport1 recorded almost 1 million viewers for its broadcast of the 2016 PDC World Darts Championship final (DWDL, 1/4).
