Swiss Super League Attendance Falls Below 11,000 For First Time Since '08

The Swiss Super League "has reached its halfway point of the '15-16 season and for the first time in seven years less than 11,000 people on average attended the games," according to BLICK. A total of 986,263 people attended the 90 Super League matches. The figure translates into an average attendance of 10,958. It is the first time since '08 that the league's attendance numbers have been below the 11,000 mark. Seven years ago, the average Super League attendance was 8,862. The league's record attendance was set in '12, when on average 12,457 people attended the games (BLICK, 12/8).
