ISS Terminates Naming-Rights Contract Of Dusseldorf Arena

Facility management provider ISS "has terminated its naming-rights contract of Dusseldorf's ISS Dome," according to Kathrin Hartmann of SPONSORs. ISS has been the arena's naming-rights partner since Dec. '05 and pays an estimated €500,000 ($542,000) annually. The ISS Dome is the home of German Hockey League (DEL) club Dusseldorf EG. The company's contract with the arena "was set to expire in the summer of '16." Despite the reported contract termination, it "is not yet known if the arena will actually have changed its name in the summer." ISS said that it "will analyze the naming-rights deal during the first half of '16 and then make a final decision" (SPONSORs, 12/4).
