Bundesliga Side Hoffenheim Increases Revenue By More than 8% To €71.5M In '14-15

Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim "was able to increase its revenue" by more than 8% during the '14-15 campaign, according to Nils Wollenschläger of HEIDELBERG24. The club reported a revenue of €71.5M for '14-15, which is close to 8.3% more than during the previous season. Hoffenheim reduced its loss by €3.5M to around €8M in '14-15. Hoffenheim Finance Dir Frank Briel expects revenue of more than €125M ($132.5M) for the current season. The club has €89M ($98M) in capital and an equity ratio of 65% (HEIDELBERG24, 11/20).

HAMBURG MINUS: In Hamburg, Braasch & Rebien wrote Bundesliga side Hamburg SV "will reportedly announce an eight-figure loss" for '14-15. A Hamburg-based radio station reported the club's loss to be more than €10M ($10.6M). It would be the club's "fifth consecutive loss." Hamburg Chair Karl Gernandt: "The auditors are still working on it. It is clear that the figures aren't good. However, the most important aspect is that the PLC secures its liquidity" (HAMBURGER MORGENPOST, 11/23)
