Event Notes: Fate Of India-Pakistan Series To Be Decided In A Few Days

The Board of Control for Cricket in India said that cricket fans will have to wait for a "couple of more days" to "know the fate of the probable bilateral series" between India and Pakistan. The "much-talked about" series has "dominated headlines in the last few months with politics and diplomacy keeping the fate of the series hanging." BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur said, "Wait for a couple of more days (on being asked to give some light on the fate of the bilateral series)" (INT'L BUSINESS TIMES, 11/19). ... With only 10 days to go until the grand finale of the F1 Grand Prix season in Abu Dhabi on the weekend of Nov. 27-29, tickets are now trading at below face value on viagogo, the world’s largest ticket marketplace. Some have suggested that this could be a result of three-time world champion Lewis Hamilton already clinching his first place finish in the 2015 World Championship. Viagogo has seen fans from more than 20 countries worldwide snapping up tickets from as little as £46 ($70), which is well below the Friday General Admission box office price of £70 ($107) (viagogo).
