PABLO GUEDE will replace EDGARDO BAUZA as head coach of Argentine first division side San Lorenzo. His contract with the club will be for the next 18 months (TYC SPORTS, 11/12). ... Argentine first division side Temperley coach RICARDO REZZA announced that he "will not remain with the club." He coached Temperley for one year and nine months (LOS ANDES, 11/15). ... The Manor Marussia Formula 1 team appointed ex-McLaren Sporting Dir DAVE RYAN as racing director on Saturday and "sounded out" retired Austrian racer ALEXANDER WURZ for the job of principal. The team, last in the championship without a point, said in a statement that current Principal JOHN BOOTH and Sporting Dir GRAEME LOWDON "are leaving at the end of the season." Wurz said that "he had been approached." He said, "I would have preferred it not be out in public but I can't deny it." Ryan resigned as McLaren sporting director in '09, "after 34 years with the team" (REUTERS, 11/14). ... VINCENZO MONTELLA has been "officially confirmed" as the new Serie A side Sampdoria coach. Sampdoria President MASSIMO FERRERO wrote on Twitter, "a star has arrived Vincenzo Montella." The former Italian int'l "was immediately earmarked as the man for the Marassi bench" when WALTER ZENGA was sacked on Tuesday (FOOTBALL ITALIA, 11/15).
