La Liga Side Real Betis Shareholder Claims Execs Falsified Documents

La Liga side Real Betis shareholder Juan Soria Hurtado claimed that there was "falsification of documents" during a shareholders meeting held on Sept. 23, according to Alejandro Delmás of AS. Those accused are club VPs Ángel Haro García and José Miguel López Catalán, Secretary Álvaro Viguera Revuelta and Vice-Secretary José Antonio Guerrero. The claims "are centered on granting representation to deceased shareholders and consequently false signatures." Documentation was provided of signatures -- "in the form of transferred voting representation" -- in favor of Catalán by deceased ex-Betis President José Núñez Naranjo and 20 other deceased shareholders (AS, 11/12).
