TVN CFO JOHN DRISCOLL resigned from his position. Driscoll, who is also quitting as VP of the TVN management board, "will continue with the company in an advisory capacity for a specified period of time." PIOTR KORYCKI, the member of the TVN management board in charge of business controlling, has been appointed as VP of the management board and "will assume responsibility for the majority of these corporate functions that previously reported to Driscoll" (DIGITAL TV EUROPE, 11/6). ... Colombian Football Federation President LUIS BEDOYA resigned unexpectedly on Monday, saying he was stepping down for "personal reasons." He had "ruled the federation" since '06 and was also one of the 11 members of CONMEBOL's exec committee.  His resignation comes "two weeks after the federation's accountant also resigned as South American football reels from the FIFA corruption scandal." Several "top officials were arrested or implicated" in the scandal (REUTERS, 11/9). ... The PyeongChang Organizing Committee for the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games appointed YEO HYEONG-GU as the new secretary general with immediate effect. Yeo started his career as a public official after passing the Korean high-level official technology exam in ‘80. He concluded his 35-year long public service position as the second vice minister of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure & Transport (PyeongChang 2018). ... League One side Coventry City CEO STEVE WAGGOTT "left after four years' service" to the club. Waggott became CEO "in a boardroom reshuffle in September 2014 on City's return to the Ricoh Arena." Waggott, who hails from the North East, also held the CEO role with League Championship side Charlton Athletic (BBC, 11/5).

COACHES/MANAGERS: Argentine first division side Atlético de Rafaela coach LEONARDO ASTRADA announced that Sunday's game against San Lorenzo was his last as the club's coach. Astrada, who took over as a replacement for ROBERTO SENSINI in April, said that he will not renew his contract (CLARÍN, 11/6). ... DAVID MOYES has been sacked as manager of La Liga side Real Sociedad "a day short of his one-year anniversary at the Spanish club." The club is "only outside the relegation zone on goal difference" and Friday's 2-0 defeat at Las Palmas was its fourth in five league games. Assistant boss BILLY MCKINLAY has also been sacked (BBC, 11/9). ... Former Inter Milan and Udinese Manager ANDREA STRAMACCIONI has been named as the new coach of Greek Super League club Panathinaikos. He signed a two-year deal with the club and takes over from GIANNIS ANASTASIOU, who left the team by mutual consent last Monday (SKY SPORTS, 11/8). ... Northern Ireland Football League Premiership club Glentoran appointed former Republic of Ireland defender ALAN KERNAGHAN as its new manager on a two-year deal. He has previously managed Clyde and Dundee and takes over after EDDIE PATTERSON was sacked last month (BBC, 11/9). ... Former Arsenal and Man City midfielder PATRICK VIEIRA has been appointed as head coach of Major League Soccer club New York City. He signed a three-year contract with the club and takes up his role on Jan. 1. He is leaving his role as head coach of Man City's U21 team (BBC, 11/9). ... Israeli basketball club Maccabi Tel Aviv parted ways with coach GUY GOODES on Monday following the team's "dismal start to the season." He was the club's head coach for the past 17 months and had worked for more than six years as an assistant coach. It was "only a matter of time until Maccabi made his firing official after the team suffered yet another humbling defeat on Sunday night" (JERUSALEM POST, 11/9).
