The European Broadcasting Union and the European Union of Gymnastics have reached a four-year agreement for exclusive worldwide media rights on all platforms (radio, TV and digital) as well as a services partnership. The Champions League match drew a peak audience of 1.35 million viewers. These numbers are an improvement from last season, when the “channel broadcasted just one Champions League match,” Monaco vs. Arsenal, which drew 941,000 viewers (L’ÉQUIPE, 11/4). ... Formula E’s commitment to becoming the world’s leading digital sporting series has been further boosted by the release of its new mobile app. The app has been built in conjunction with mobile media and sports broadcasting producer Intellicore, using its Playrz platform. As well as keeping Formula E fans up to date with breaking news, profiles of the 10 teams and 20 drivers and FanBoost voting platform, the new app will also carry live race streaming of all the track action in selected markets across the world (Formula E).
