Second Bundesliga Club SC Freiburg Reports Record Revenue Of €78.7M During '14-15

Second Bundesliga club SC Freiburg "has reported positive financial numbers for the previous season depite being relegated from the Bundesliga," according to the DPA. Freiburg generated a record revenue of €78.7M during the '14-15 season. The figure is up from €70.9M in '13-14. Finance Dir Oliver Leki, who announced the numbers at the club's annual general meeting, also unveiled a profit of €13.2M (€12.8M) in '13-14 during the past year. The club's transfer income increased from €7.1M to €15.8M. President Fritz Keller also announced that the club "added 400 new members, which brought its total membership to 8,628 and threrefore 1,000 more and last year" (DPA, 11/3).
