IQiyi Named PGA Tour’s Official Digital Streaming Portal in China

IQiyi signed an agreement to become the PGA Tour’s official digital streaming portal in China from '16-20. When the new five-year agreement begins in '16, golf fans in China will be able to watch over 1,500 hours of live streaming from more than 40 PGA Tour tournaments per year, including The Players Championship, all FedExCup events and The Presidents Cup, as well as the World Cup. In addition, fans can watch all the ancillary programming produced by PGA Tour Entertainment. The first event to be streamed live on iQiyi in '16 will be the Hyundai Tournament of Champions in Hawaii from Jan. 7-10. To complement the live streaming, fans can also watch the tournament on-demand, as well as other exclusive tournament content including player interviews, on and off-course highlights and other news content. IQiyi will also work with the PGA Tour to produce customized and original content that will connect with a broader audience who may not be as familiar with the sport (PGA Tour).
