Rugby Players' Association Calls For Greater Respect For Salary Cap

When Premier Rugby (PRL) declared last week that the salary-cap inquiry "had been concluded yet would not disclose those conclusions, it provoked dissatisfaction among fans." Premiership club Wasps released a statement the next day declaring that "they were not under investigation." This "appeared to be a challenge to other clubs to follow." RPA CEO Damian Hopley stated that the players "backed the salary cap."
