Facility Notes: Anfield Evacuated After Man Goes Missing On Stadium Tour

Liverpool had to evacuate Anfield "after a man went missing inside the ground while on a stadium tour." Merseyside Police were called at 3:05pm "with sniffer dogs used to search for the missing man," but they and the club confirmed they are "satisfied that there are no people unaccounted for" inside the stadium (London DAILY MAIL, 10/27). ... Danish architectural firm Keingart has been awarded a gold medal from the IOC and the Int'l Association for Sports & Leisure Facilities for making the best outdoor sports facility in the world. The prize goes to an innovative, outdoor sports stadium in the city of Odense in Denmark. In addition to the gold medal, the Danish firm also won a bronze medal for an indoor rebuilding (Keingart).
