Bayern Munich Extends Deal With HypoVereinsbank For Six Years Until '22

FC Bayern Munich and HypoVereinsbank have extended their partnership until '22. The new agreement covers a further six years. HypoVereinsbank, which is a subsidiary of UniCredit, has been a partner of the the club since '03. Its current contract with the team was set to expire at the end of the '15-16 season (Bayern Munich). SPONSORs' Nils Lehnebach reported the financial institute paid an estimated €4.5M ($5.1M) annually for its association with Bayern. HypoVereinsbank is one of eight second-tier partners of the club. Bayern's other platinum partners are: Paulaner, DHL, Gigaset, Lufthansa, SAP, Tipico and Yingli (SPONSORs, 10/15).
