Norwegian Football Club Sandnes Ulf Lines Up $18.5M Stadium For '18

Norwegian side Sandnes Ulf "has confirmed its long-awaited plans to open a new stadium to support its efforts to secure promotion back to the country's top tier," according to Jaroslaw Adamowski of INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL. The stadium will be completed in '18. The stadium build will cost 150M Norwegian krone ($18.5M). The project design "was prepared by local architectural firm Plank Arkitekter." Under the plan, the stadium will have a total floor space of 4,500 square meters, and will seat 7,582 spectators "under a roof." In addition, the stadium "will be enabled to be expanded to accommodate a further 2,023 spectators" (INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL, 10/15).
