Media Notes: Forthnet's Nova Brings Fox Sports To Greek Television

Athens-listed Forthnet announced on Monday that its pay-TV platform Nova "will soon start offering the popular" U.S. network Fox Sports exclusively to its subscribers in its HD version. Fans of U.S. sports will be able to follow the NFL, MLB and NHL, as well as the PGA Tour, NCAA college football and basketball, "plus a wide variety of other sports in a version tailor-made for Greek viewers" (EKATHIMERINI, 10/5). ... The World Baseball Softball Confederation announced that Seoul-based SBS has been awarded broadcast rights in South Korea for the 2015 WBSC Premier12. SBS was selected by WBSC and awarded the exclusive broadcasting rights of the 2015 WBSC Premier12 across all media platforms, including online and TV (WBSC).
