Bundesliga Side FC Cologne To Break €100M-Revenue Barrier This Season

Bundesliga side FC Cologne "announced it will break" the €100M ($112M)-revenue barrier this season, according to Alexander Haubrichs of EXPRESS. Cologne Finance Dir Alexander Wehrle: "We will break the €100 million barrier this season." Wehrle also believes that the club will be able to increase its profit this season. In addition, the club's switch from IMG to Infront "also means better financial conditions for the team." Cologne "is also looking at international markets for new revenue." Together with its new marketing partner Infront, the club "will announce a focus market this winter." It is expected that China "will be the club's target market." In addition, the team "sees growth opportunities on the digital side" (EXPRESS, 10/2).
