Close To 6.5 Million Viewers Tune In To Watch Champions League On ZDF

German public broadcaster ZDF "recorded close to 6.5 million viewers for its broadcast of the UEFA Champions League game between ManU and VfL Wolfsburg," according to Sidney Schering of QUOTENMETER. The game, which started at 8:45pm, attracted 6.44 million viewers and had a market share of 22.4%. In the target demographic 14-49, ManU's 2-1 win obtained a 17.2% share as 1.82 million viewers tuned in. ZDF's ratings decreased starting at 10:45pm when the channel showed highlights of the match between Juventus and Sevilla. The game obtained a market share of 20.6% along with 16.2% in the target demo. The summary of the game between Borussia Mönchengladbach and Man City drew a 21.5% share, as well as 17.6% in the target demo. The highlights of the Barcelona-Leverkusen matchup recorded a 17.1% share in the target demo and 20.4% overall. The summary of the game between Bayern Munich and Zagreb, which took place on Tuesday, drew an 18.5% share starting at 11pm. In the target demo, Bayern's 5-0 win had a 16.4% share (QUOTENMETER, 10/1).
