French National Broadcaster TF1 Agrees To Euro 2016 Deal With BeIN Media Group

French national broadcaster TF1 "has sublicensed a package of broadcast rights" to 11 additional games from the UEFA Euro 2016 tournament from beIN Media Group, according to Mike Kennedy of SPORTSPRO. BeIN Media Group "holds the live rights in France to all the games for the tournament," which is set to take place between June 10 and July 10. TF1 "already holds the rights to show 11 Euro 2016 matches as a result of a previous sublicensing deal with beIN, while fellow commercial broadcaster M6 also holds rights to show 11 games." Matches will "be co-broadcast live with BeIN Media Group’s pay-TV sports channel, BeIN Sports" (SPORTSPRO, 10/1).
