Marketplace Roundup: Euroleague Basketball Partners With Sport Integrity Monitor

Euroleague Basketball agreed to a new long-term integrity partnership with Sport Integrity Monitor. Through a combination of educational workshops and comprehensive monitoring of global betting markets, SportIM will assist Euroleague in preventing match-fixing and spot-fixing in all Euroleague, Eurocup and U18 Tournament games from the '15-16 season onward (Euroleague). ... Astley Media, based in Exeter, is sponsoring the Premiership Rugby side's European Cup shirts, alongside other regional sponsors including Flybe, Centrax, SW Comms, Watson Fuels and Car Supermarket. It is Astley Media's first major sponsorship, and builds on work the company is already doing in sports marketing for several of its clients (WESTERN MORNING NEWS, 9/28). ... Mitsubishi Electric Australia and A-League side Western Sydney Wanderers announced an extension of their partnership through the end of the '18-19 season (Wanderers). ... Serie A side Torino renewed its sponsorship deal with food company Fratelli Beretta. As part of the agreement, the meat distributor’s logo "will continue to be displayed on the front" of the club’s playing shirts. The logo "will be positioned above the prime chest spot currently filled by Suzuki’s Vitara brand." Fratelli Beretta’s sponsorship "also includes placement in Torino’s official communications and support for the club’s academy teams" (SOCCEREX, 9/28). ... Swiss telecom and media provider UPC Cablecom is sponsoring the Spengler Cup. It will appear as a silver partner on perimeter advertising, on the rink and on the video cube above the rink. UPC Cablecom will also be a data partner of the Spengler Cup (UPC Cablecom).

LEICESTER RENEWS WITH TOYO: EPL side Leicester City announced the renewal of its partnership with Toyo Tires, which will again be an official club partner for the '15-16 season. Leicester City and Toyo Tires forged a partnership last campaign as the Japanese company received commercial presence at King Power Stadium, as well as branding on the club’s first team training wear (Leicester City).

EQ NUTRITION DEAL: Premiership Rugby side London Wasps announced a multi-year, mutually exclusive partnership with EQ Nutrition, which becomes the the club's official performance supplement supplier. EQ Nutrition will work closely with Wasps' strength and conditioning experts to tailor nutritional support for Wasps' senior and academy squads (Wasps).
