Marketplace Roundup: Dimension Data Is New Title Sponsor Of Ryder Cycling

Dimension Data, a global ICT solutions and services provider, announced that it will become the new title partner of Ryder Cycling, which owns and managees Team MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung, Africa's only UCI professional continental cycling team. The team's new name will be Team Dimension Data (Dimension Data). ... UBFS invest is to become a stakeholder in the touring car series as a partner of the Mercedes-AMG DTM Team. The company has become a co-sponsor of the team. An agreement has been signed extending over several years. In the second phase commencing with the '16 season, UBFS invest will become the main sponsor of the team which will give one of its Mercedes AMG DTM C 63 cars a UBFS-themed livery (Mercedes-Benz). ... Yonex has been named official stringer for the Australian Open. The Yonex team will be on site at Melbourne Park for three weeks in January, providing stringing services for every stage of the tournament from the start of qualifying. The team expects to string more than 4,000 rackets during the event (Australian Open). ... Australia's National Basketball League announced Europcar as the official car rental partner to the NBL for the '15-16 season. Since being acquired by Melbourne-based businessman Larry Kestelman in June, the NBL has pursued an ambitious agenda to secure major sponsors and broadcast rights, with the league announcing a broadcast deal with FOX Sports earlier this month. The NBL also announced that Telstra will be the official technology and data partner of the league (NBL). ... DHL, the official logistics partner of the Rugby World Cup 2015, is extending its partnership with the men's and women's HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series. DHL's support will include logistic provision for some of the teams taking part in the '15-16 season, as well as supporting World Rugby's development of the game among new audiences and in new territories through various community initiatives (World Rugby).
