N.Y. lawyer JOE TACOPINA resigned as Serie A side Bologna president "after just 11 months in charge due to a rift" with Canadian investor JOEY SAPUTO. Tacopina sued Saputo in a N.Y. court "over alleged failed payments but the parties have apparently settled their differences." The move "clears the way for Saputo, already president of MLS club Montreal Impact, to also become Bologna's president." Tacopina is reportedly interested in "taking over" Frosinone, which is in the fourth division" (AP, 9/20). ... Research firm YouGov named KantarSport Global Head RICHARD BRINKMAN director of strategy and growth for its SMG Insight sports arm. SMG Insight also named Kantar Media VP TRACY SCHOENADEL senior VP of North America and Repucom Senior VP/South Asia JOSEPH EAPEN senior VP of India (SMG). ... One World Sports named Perform Media Head of Production HAYLEY MACKAY director of production (One World Sports).
