Marketplace Roundup: Alba Berlin Partners With Health Brand Bauerfeind AG

Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) side Alba Berlin signed a new sponsorship deal with health brand Bauerfeind AG. The company will provide bandages and other medical supplies (Alba Berlin). ... German Hockey League (DEL) club Dusseldorf EG extended its partnership with health insurance provider Deutsche BKK. As part of the two-year deal, Deutsche BKK will increase its financial contribution to the club (DEG). ... Scarborough Rugby Union Football Club announced its two new main club sponsors for the '15-16 campaign. Dalby Offshore and RooGreen Ventures LLP are backing the club as leading sponsors as well as sponsoring the first 15’s shirts for the coming season (Scarborough Rugby). ... Volkswagen signed a sponsorship agreement with La Liga side Valencia and will be the official car provider for the club during the '15-16 season. The agreement includes the provision of a fleet of vehicles for the chairwoman, coaching staff and players, including the new Golf Variant GTD. Volkswagen will also have a brand presence at Mestalla and the Ciudad Deportiva as an official partner of the club (Valencia FC). ... Premiership rugby side Leicester Tigers announced a new partnership with the Nottingham Building Society, which will include a tag rugby program for more than 2,000 children in the Tigers Family fanzone (Leicester Tigers). ... Swedish brand Malmsten will remain FINA's official supplier of swimming racing lane lines as well as water polo goals and field of play equipment until '20. Duraflex Int'l, current official FINA supplier of diving boards and diving board stands extended its association with FINA for an eight-year period agreement from '17-20 (FINA). ... The National Basketball League announced plans to partner with Virgin Australia as the League's Official Airline Partner in Australia for the upcoming '15-16 NBL season (NBL). ... Online printing company Saxoprint "reached a two-year deal with ATP event Erste Bank Open 500." Saxoprint "will receive logo presence in a camera view at the Vienna-based tournament" (SPONSORs, 9/18).
