Media Notes: Formula E, ITV Renew Broadcast Deal In U.K. For Second Season

Formula E will continue to be televised live and free-to-air on ITV in the U.K. for the second season of the FIA Formula E Championship. All 11 rounds will be broadcast live on ITV4 and ITV4 HD with the season-ending London ePrix airing live on ITV. The network’s flagship channel will also show an extensive highlights program after each ePrix (Formula E). ... The UCI signed a partnership with Norwegian free-to-air broadcaster TV 2. A three-year deal spanning '17-20. TV 2 will broadcast the 2017 UCI Road World Championship taking place in Bergen, Norway. TV 2 will be responsible for the international TV production, and providing footage (live coverage, summaries, interviews, behind the scenes) to all right-holders. TV 2 will also broadcast other UCI events including those for track, mountain bike, BMX, cyclo-cross and trials (UCI).
