BMW Renews Sponsorship Of DP World Tour Championship Through '17

The European Tour's season-ending DP World Tour Championship, Dubai will be backed for another three years to '17 by BMW-AGMC, according to the KHALEEJ TIMES. BMW has been the official car of the $8M tournament since '10 and is also the official car of the European Tour, title sponsor of the BMW PGA Championship, the BMW Int'l Open, the BMW Masters and is a European team partner for the Ryder Cup. The tournament will take place on the Earth course at Jumeirah Golf Estates from Nov. 19-22. In addition to the tournament prize fund and $5M Race to Dubai Bonus Pool, BMW is also providing the incentive of a BMW i8 for the first player who makes a hole-in-one on the par-three 17th hole (KHALEEJ TIMES, 9/14).
