Italian Second Tier Partners With Online Car Insurance Firm ConTe.it

Serie B "will be known as Serie B ConTe.it for the next three seasons after reaching an agreement with the online car insurance firm," according to SOCCEREX. ConTe.it, a subsidiary of British insurance company Admiral, "will act as the title sponsor of the division" for the current '15-16 season and until the end of the '17-18 season. Elsewhere in lower-league Italian football, the Mediterranean Shipping Company "has become the new main sponsor of Sorrento Calio," a club playing in the Lega Pro Seconda Divisione. MSC's logo "will feature on the shirts of Sorrento players" for the duration of the '15-16 season. Meanwhile in Serie D, the country's fourth football tier, A.S.D. Termoli has also "signed a new main front-of-shirt sponsorship deal" with Termoli-based jeweler the Martino Group (SOCCEREX, 8/26).
