Marketplace Roundup: Bundesliga Side Schalke Agrees To New Deal With Turkish Airlines

Bundesliga side Schalke "agreed to a new partnership with Turkish Airlines." The deal with the airline "will run until the end of the '16-17 season." In addition to Turkish Airlines, Schalke's current airline partner Condor will also stay "on board." The new partnership, which was brokered by Ufa Sports, "has an estimated mid-six figure value per season" (SPONSORs, 8/21). ... Cricket Ireland announced that Hanley Energy will become the primary sponsor of the Irish Cricket Team until the end of '15. The partnership takes immediate effect. The Hanley Energy logo will now appear on the team playing kit for the remainder of '15 including for the Hanley Energy Challenge against world champions Australia on Thursday in Stormont (Cricket Ireland). ... EA Sports has become the official fan engagement partner of EPL side West Bromwich Albion for the forthcoming season. The agreement will see the club and brand collaborate on various social media campaigns to promote the latest installment of the FIFA video game franchise, FIFA 16 (West Brom).
