Electronics retail chain Media Markt "has entered the Bundesliga in '15-16 through several sponsorship deals," according to Henning Eberhardt of SPONSORs. In addition to its shirt sponsorship deal with Ingolstadt, the company "agreed to deals with several other clubs." Media Markt has signed deals with Bundesliga sides FC Schalke, TSG Hoffenheim, Hamburg SV, Hertha Berlin and Eintracht Frankfurt. As a third-tier partner of Schalke, the electronics chain receives ad space on LED boards at the Veltins Arena. The two-year deal has an estimated mid-six figure value per year.
