Jenson Button, Ayrton Senna Star In 'Space Travel' Honda Advert

Honda "launched a new advert inspired by space flight, featuring racing drivers, a robot and a nod to the NASA space program," according to Stephen Hurrell of the London DAILY MIRROR. The Japanese car maker "rolled out the big guns for its latest space-inspired advert," with a cameo from current F1 driver Jenson Button and the voice of former McLaren Honda driver Ayrton Senna appearing in the atmospheric video. Set to Beethoven's Symphony No. 5, Mozart's Queen of the Night Aria and children's '60s song A Trip on a Rocket Ship, Honda "is hoping to secure the accolade of best advert of 2015 with a nod to its return to F1 and the first commercial flight of the Honda Jet." Scott Dungate, creative director at Wieden + Kennedy, the firm behind The Cog and the new advert, said, "Racing was where it started, and it’s great to see this spirit return so strong in 2015, with such an impressive and diverse fleet" (DAILY MIRROR, 8/14).
