BeIN Media Group Signs Deal To Carry Bundesliga Across MENA, France, Australia

BeIN Media Group has struck a deal "to broadcast the Bundesliga across the Middle East, North Africa, France and Australia," according to SOCCEREX. The deal, which includes the rights to all 306 Bundesliga matches each season, will run for two years in France and five years in the other territories. The agreement also covers Second Bundesliga fixtures, the German Supercup and the Bundesliga relegation playoffs. BeIN has "also picked up the exclusive rights to distribute programming to digital operators, including online television services and mobile companies" (SOCCEREX, 8/13).
