PETER MCCORMICK has been appointed by Premier League clubs to
represent the league on the FA Board and the FA Council. He is a
solicitor and was the EPL's acting chair from March '14-June. He was
unanimously elected onto the board by all 20 Premier League clubs (FA). ... South Australia Police Assistant Commissioner LINDA FELLOWS has joined Australian Football League side Adelaide's board as an appointed director. Fellows, who is also an inaugural member of the club's professional standards and integrity committee, will fill the position for a two-year term (Adelaide).
COACHES/MANAGERS: Former EPL side Sunderland Manager RICKY SBRAGIA has been promoted to head coach of Scotland's U21 national football team. He steps up from the U19 team to become the permanent successor to BILLY STARK, who left his post in November (SCOTSMAN, 8/12). ... VERN COTTER has extended his contract as Scotland head coach until '17 "as he prepares to lead the national team at the Rugby World Cup" (STV, 8/12).
