Manchester United Releases New Away Kit As Adidas Pays Tribute To '60s Design

ManU revealed its new away kit for the '15-16 season, according to Rohan Banerjee of the London DAILY MAIL. Drawing inspiration from the club's classic white designs worn by the "Busby Babes" in the '60s, the new shirt by adidas "features a v-neck cut collar and three stripes down the shoulders." There "is also a graphic design on the hem of the shirt as a throwback to the 1990 model famously worn by United legend Ryan Giggs in his debut season." The new away kit "will be worn for the match against Aston Villa" on Aug. 14. ManU and adidas said that the new design is part of the brand's "Break Expectations" campaign, which links in with the club's return to the Champions League and the "dawn of a new era" (DAILY MAIL, 8/11).
