Ronaldo Launches Headphones, Dresses As Homeless Man In PR Stunt

Real Madrid player Cristiano Ronaldo "dressed up as a homeless man in a PR stunt to promote his new headphone brand," according to Sara Spary of MARKETING MAGAZINE. Ronaldo announced this week that "he has co-founded a new consumer electronics company called ROC Live Life Loud that will sell products, including headphones, to his fans." The business "has been founded in partnership with Monster Products and will be launched exclusively with eBay." In the PR stunt, the footballer "is seen dressed as a homeless man surprising passers by with his tactical skills" (MARKETING MAGAZINE, 8/6). In London, Ryan Ramgobin wrote Ronaldo uploaded the video to his Facebook page "and it has already been viewed more than 20 million times." After "receiving an unflattering makeover and fat-suiting up, the 30-year old takes to the streets of Madrid to go undercover and cause mischief." He "shows off his trademark skills from nutmegging members of the unsuspecting public to performing countless stepovers and juggling." The cheeky footballer "even asks one woman for her number -- to which she politely declines" (INDEPENDENT, 8/4).
