Marketplace Roundup: Brasileiro Side Santos Agrees To Deal With Voxx

Financially stricken Brasileiro club Santos has reportedly agreed to "a sponsorship deal with supplements brand Voxx." The one-year contract includes branding on the club's shorts. Financial terms "have not been released" (SOCCEREX, 7/24). ... CMC Markets announced that it will be joining Ben Ainslie Racing as the team's official partner (CMC Markets). ... Ligue 1 side OGC Nice has "signed a sponsorship deal with online poker company Winamax." The Winamax logo "will appear on the front" of Nice's shorts for the duration of the '15-16 season, beginning with the club's friendly against Napoli Aug. 2. Though financial details "have not been released, the deal is likely to be worth a low six-figure sum to the club across the one-year term" (SOCCEREX, 7/23). ... Computer company Asus "partnered with German second division side Fortuna Dusseldorf." The firm becomes a third-level partner of the club and "will have advertising throughout Dusseldorf’s Esprit Arena, beginning with the side’s first home game of the new season against SC Paderborn on 2nd August." Financial terms were not released but it is estimated "to be worth a low six-figure euro sum" (SOCCEREX, 7/24). ... German Hockey League (DEL) side Dusseldorf EG has extended its partnership with PSD Bank Rhein-Ruhr for another season. The deal includes logo presence on the team's jerseys along with additional ad space (Dusseldorf EG). ... Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) club Phoenix Hagen signed a kit supply deal with Spanish sportswear Joma Sport and the Ballsportdirekt Group. The three-year deal includes the club's Bundesliga team, U19 NBBL team and the U16 JBBL team (Phoenix Hagen).
