In response to the return of violent incidents in recent matches, the Chilean FA (ANFP) proposed a package of seven measures on Friday. They include a fan database that will gradually be implemented between '15 and '16 and the possibility of holding games without any fans from the visiting team. ANFP President Sergio Jadue announced the measures a day after a Copa Chile match between Rangers and Universidad at the Talca Stadium, which was suspended due to serious damages caused during the middle of the game by fans. Tickets for Chilean games can be purchased locally or online, which will require fans to present personal ID photo information, which Jadue added will serve to identify the fans in case of incidents. The government will also request the return of the police inside the stadium. Jadue: "The local security guards are supplementary and do not replace the work itself of the police." The ANFP will also seek to amend the bylaws to give local
clubs the opportunity to, upon request, be able to play without visiting
fans (CONMEBOL).
