Network Ten Acquires Women's Big Bash League Broadcast Rights

Network Ten has picked up the rights to broadcast eight matches from the inaugural Women’s Big Bash League. The eight-team Women’s Big Bash League is the first of its kind and the franchise-based Twenty20 tournament will be aligned with the existing KFC T20 Big Bash League structure, adopting the same colors and team names. The addition of the Women’s Big Bash League further cements Network Ten’s commitment to women’s sport. Network Ten already broadcasts the ANZ Netball Championship, Australian Swimming Championships and will air the 2015 Netball World Cup in August. The '15-16 season of the Women’s Big Bash League commences on Dec. 5. ONE will broadcast its first match on Dec. 19 (Network Ten).
