Marketplace Roundup: Bundesliga Club FC Ingolstadt Extends Deal With Tire Brand Falken

Bundesliga side FC Ingolstadt has agreed to a new partnership with tire brand Falken. The subsidiary of Japanese company Sumitomo Rubber Industries signed a two-year deal with the club that took effect on July 1. Falken will receive extensive marketing and promotion rights (FC Ingolstadt). ... Northern Premier League club Darlington named Glenwood Paints its new shirt sponsor. The deal will see the Darlington-based firm have its logo emblazoned on the Quakers' home and away shirts (NORTHERN ECHO, 7/8). ... Brasileiro side Santos' museum, Memorial das Conquistas (Memorial of the Conquers), and the Pelé Museum "agreed to a partnership to benefit those who want to visit both institutions." Fans can now visit both attractions for the price of R$19 ($6) per person (MAQUINA DO ESPORTE, 7/9). ... League Championship side Nottingham Forest announced that The Money Shop will continue to be an official club partner for the '15-16 campaign (Nottingham Forest). ... British sports brand PlayerLayer and Nottingham Rugby have agreed to a partnership making PlayerLayer the official kit supplier. The new kit will be worn from the beginning of the '15-16 season. PlayerLayer is a new British sports brand that makes performance sports clothing that can be personalized and customized for both teams and individuals (Nottingham Rugby). ... Bayern Munich and Paulaner Brewery extended their partnership on Wednesday. The brewery and club have been partners for the last 12 years (Bayern Munich). ... A-League club Melbourne Victory and 10-year sleeve partner KFC extended their partnership for another two seasons, extending the relationship until the end of the '16-17 campaign. The partnership dates back to the commencement of the A-League in '05 (Melbourne Victory). ... League Two club Yeovil Town announced that Jones Building Group will become its main sponsor for the '15-16 season, taking over from W+S Recycling Services. Jones has been involved with the club for more than a decade, including as main sponsor from '09-12. Prior to that it sponsored Yeovil Town's youth team and occupied an exec suite (Yeovil Town).
