Media Notes: Dorna WSBK, ESPN Brazil Extend Partnership For Three Years

ESPN Brazil has extended the agreement with Dorna World Superbikes Organization to broadcast the FIM Superbike World Championship for a further three-year period. The motorcycle racing series will be viewable all over the Brazilian territory in both English and Portuguese. On TV, ESPN Brazil has three channels. This renewal consolidates the partnership between Dorna and ESPN (Dorna WSBK). ... Spanish media company Mediapro has "reached an agreement" with the Brazilian media conglomerate Globo for the int'l sale of TV rights to the Brazilian Football League until '19. Mediapro will "exploit the TV rights in Europe and Asia," offering 153 matches from the Brazilian Série A including summaries and highlights and programs, like "Footbrazil," to all int'l platforms except for the U.S. (ADVANCED TELEVISION, 7/3).
