Fude Holdings Invests In Chinese Second-Tier Side Yanbian Changbaishan FC

Yanbian Changbaishan FC, a team from the Jia League, China's second tier, has "signed a four-year sponsorship deal with life insurance company Fude Holdings" worth CNY80M ($12.9M), according to SOCCEREX. Fude will invest CNY20M ($3.2M) a year into the Yanji-based club, contributing to the establishment of eight new football academies in the region, "which will be known as the Fude Football Schools." According to reports, Fude is prepared to increase its investment in Yanbian "should the club acheive its goal of promotion to the Chinese Super League" (SOCCEREX, 6/26).
