Nike board of directors members DOUGLAS HOUSER and ORIN SMITH have retired from their positions (Nike). ... League Championship side Brighton & Hove Albion CEO PAUL BARBER and Wolverhampton Wanderers CEO JEZ MOXEY have been elected to the board of directors of the Football League by Championship clubs. They will be joined on the board by Millwall CEO ANDY AMBLER, who has been elected to represent League One clubs after standing down as a Championship representative following the Lions’ relegation at the end of the '14-15 campaign. Barber and Moxey join Middlesbrough’s KEITH LAMB in representing Championship clubs on the board (Football League). ... Brasileiro side Vasco "closed a deal to contract" coach CELSO ROTH to substitute DORIVA, who resigned on Sunday. Roth will "have the mission of taking the team out of the relegation zone" (UOL, 6/21).
