Media Notes: Poland's Eleven Sports Network Secures Rights To Serie A, Ligue 1

Poland's Eleven Sports Network has announced a range of TV rights deals for leagues across Europe. The broadcaster will air coverage of Serie A, Ligue 1 and the Scottish Professional Football League. Eleven Sports Network, which is owned by MP & Silva Founder Andrea Radrizzani, "has also taken the rights" to the National Football League, F1 and the European Handball Federation Champions League (SOCCEREX, 6/16). ... Motorsport.com on Tuesday announced that it has agreed to fully acquire privately-held RaceFanstv.com Ltd., a leading provider of motorsport racing video content. The assets acquired will be integrated into Motorsport.com's video infrastructure portfolio, Motorsport.tv. The acquisition leverages Motorsport.com's new digital platform -- Motorsport.tv -- which will be launched in October, in creating and housing the largest library of motorsports video content in the world (Motorsport.com).
