Scottish Premiership Side St. Johnstone Signs With Invest In Perth, Renews With Binn Group

Scottish Premiership side St. Johnstone secured a partnership deal with Invest in Perth, the inward investment arm of Perth & Kinross Council, in a move aimed at developing closer links with the city's business community. The partnership -- the first of its kind in Scottish football -- was sealed in time for the start of St. Johnstone's European campaign. The tie-up will see Invest in Perth become first team shirt sponsor for the '15-16 season. Perth & Kinross Council Leader Ian Miller said, "The key behind this decision is that both the Council and St. Johnstone have recognized that more needs to be done to associate the club with the city of Perth. The club is a major asset to the city and wider region in a number of ways." The club also announced that local firm Binn Group will once again be a back of jersey sponsor for the '15-16 season. The Glenfarg-based waste management and recycling operation's logo will be featured on the back of the jerseys (St. Johnstone).
