Barcelona Economic VP JAVIER FAUS will "leave the club after this summer's elections." Faus "has for months believed that his journey with the club was nearing its conclusion, convinced that he had given Barcelona his best and contributed to transforming it into a better organization" (SPORT, 6/9). ... Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Dir General SALVADOR SERVIÀ announced on Tuesday that he will step down after the MotoGP race held at the track this weekend (EP, 6/9). ... PRINCE HARRY has "launched the Rugby World Cup trophy tour" across the U.K. and Ireland, marking 100 days to the start of the global event. Previous England Rugby World Cup winners JONNY WILKINSON and WILL GREENWOOD joined the prince at Twickenham Stadium -- the home of English rugby -- to "launch the Webb Ellis Cup on its journey." The Webb Ellis trophy tour will "start in Scotland on June 11 before being paraded across the rest of Britain" and Ireland (London DAILY MAIL, 6/10). ... MO FARAH's coach ALBERTO SALAZAR is "looking to use testimony" from the convicted doper MARY SLANEY as he "attempts to prove that the recent allegations of drugs violations against him are false." Salazar is "gathering evidence that he hopes will clear his name" after he was accused of plying GALEN RUPP with performance-enhancing drugs throughout the Olympic 10,000m Silver Medalist’s career (London TELEGRAPH, 6/9). ... Olympic cyclist VICTORIA PENDLETON, who is "aiming on securing an amateur jockeys licence, is to tackle her first race next month." The double Olympic Gold Medalist is to "ride in a charity race at Newbury" on July 2. Pendleton "started training to be a jockey earlier this year after being approached by bookmakers Betfair." The aim is for her to "ride in the Cheltenham Foxhunter next year" (HORSE & HOUND, 6/10). 

OLIVER WINS AGAIN: The British comedian JOHN OLIVER has "paid for airtime" on Trinidad TV in order to ask former FIFA VP JACK WARNER to "stand by his word and reveal what he knows about corruption inside world football’s governing body." In a four-minute segment shown on TV6, Trinidad’s largest private broadcaster, on Tuesday night, Oliver "called on Warner to 'release everything' after the disgraced 72-year-old" and former CONCACAF president "used his own paid-for political broadcast on TV6 to claim he had proof" of FIFA wrongdoing (London GUARDIAN, 6/10).
