Havas Sport & Entertainment appointed MICHEL GOTLIB as the COO of its French operations. Gotlib will be in charge of the daily management and development of the agency alongside CEO GILLES PORTELLE. Gotlib will focus on developing key accounts on a global scale, supporting new business efforts and leading the expansion of Havas SE France's service offering (Havas SE).

COACHES/MANAGERS: Bangladesh cricket team Manager KHALED MAHMUD "quit just ahead of the Test match against India starting Wednesday." Sources from the Bangladesh Cricket Board said that Mahmud emailed his resignation on Sunday to BCB CEO NIZAMUDDIN CHOWDHURY, citing "family reasons" (IANS, 6/8). ... Serie A side Cesena appointed MASSIMO DRAGO as its coach for next season. He "will take the role most recently occupied by" DOMENICO DI CARLO. A club statement said, "His staff will be composed of assistant Coach MAURO GALLUZZO, fitness trainer ANDREA NOCERA and technical collaborator FABIO ERRIGO" (FOOTBALL ITALIA, 6/8). ... Brasileiro side Coritiba sacked coach MARQUINHOS SANTOS. Former Coritiba coach NEY FRANCO, an "old friend of the fans," will take Santos' place (UOL, 6/8).
