Second Bundesliga Relegation Matchup Draws Nearly 2 Million Viewers On BR, NDR

The second leg of the 2nd Bundesliga relegation match between 1860 Munich and Holstein Kiel "recorded nearly 2 million viewers on Tuesday," according to Manuel Nunez Sanchez of QUOTENMETER. The game, which started at 8:30pm, aired on regional public broadcasters BR and NDR. An average of 1.56 million viewers tuned in to watch the game on BR. The number translated into a market share of 5.6%. In the target demographic 14-49, the game broadcast obtained a 4.1% share as 410,000 viewers tuned in. The NDR attraced 1.94 million viewers during the game's second half starting at 9:30pm. Munich's 2-1 victory drew a 7.1% market share along with 5.7% in the target demo (QUOTENMETER, 6/3).
