Facility Notes: Rapid Retail Secures Ligue 1, 2, La Liga Clubs' Contracts

Stadium and events retail unit specialist Rapid Retail has secured new deals with Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and La Liga clubs and is set to announce further contracts later this year. In the last few months, Rapid Retail has generated business to the value of £500,000 ($767,000). Atlético Madrid and French clubs Girondins de Bordeaux, Olympique de Marseille, AS Monaco and newly promoted Troyes have all signed with the company (Rapid Retail). ... The first seats in any of Rio de Janeiro's new Olympic arenas "were installed in the gymnasium that will host fencing" and taekwondo before hosting Paralympic judo. The Arena Carioca 3, which has a capacity of 10,000 spectators, "will receive all chairs, colored blue and green," by the end of July (FOLHA DE SÃO PAULO, 6/2).
