Franchise Notes: Bournemouth Chair Jeff Mostyn Defends Season Ticket Increase

League Championship side Bournemouth Chair Jeff Mostyn "defended the increase in season ticket prices for the club's first season in England's top flight." The club currently has 7,000 season-ticket holders. The average adult season ticket has risen from just under £600 ($930) to £687 ($1,065) and Mostyn believes that the club has been "respectful" to its supporters (BBC, 5/19). ... Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund added a July match against Japanese outfit Kawasaki Frontale to its Asia tour. The tour, which also features stops in Malaysia and Singapore, "will be the first for new coach Thomas Tuchel," who will replace Jürgen Klopp at the end of the season (REUTERS, 5/19).
