Liga MX Side Puebla President Says Club Is In Talks With Unnamed Investor

Liga MX side Puebla President Jesús López Chargoy is "already planning his club's immediate future" after it recently avoided relegation, according to Edgar González of LA AFICIÓN. Chargoy: "There is an investor, a good friend of ours, a person that was previously in football, but not with Puebla. He has talked with us for a month, a month and a half, and said that he would like to return to football. He brings a considerable investment. We told him the investment that we needed, he said that he had this, and we are going to sit down in the next couple days." He was "emphatic in saying that to face next season, when the team will again be fighting for permanence, it is necessary to restructure from the foundation all sectors of the club." He said that this "will happen, independently of whether an arrangement is reached with a new investor." Chargoy: "We are aware we have committed many errors, from the top to the bottom, there will be changes" (LA AFICIÓN, 5/11).
